The business of excellent leadership in my view equates with authenticity, credibility, and openness. Collaborators can sense the degree of presence of these crucial elements in their leaders. Every leader can continue on their journey of improving, enhancing her or his positive influence on culture, values, levels of engagement, loyalty, commitment, even fun, as well as business results.

There are many approaches to leadership development including development centres, 360-feedback, or individual coaching. Bottom line is that for most leaders, developing and refining their unique leadership style and skills is an ongoing process involving awareness and focused effort. Defining specific and achievable development goals and targeted outcomes with a corresponding realistic timeframe will make the difference.
